NABARD skill development program for Rural youth

The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has sanctioned a Project on Acqua culture for livelihood improvement of women members of SHGs in Boothpur and Addakal mandals of Mahbubnagar district. The Project aims at capacity building of women in fisheries- technology and marketing and motivating them to implement Circulatory Aqua culture System (CAS) model of aqua culture and linking it with paddy and vegetable fields for getting additional income contributed to their livelihoods

This was grounded during January with exposure visits to Khama Reddy district where in similar programmes are being implemented with NABARD support. The training programmes is ongoing and 240 SHG women will be trained and provided opportunity to ground the enterprise. In this project there is a provision for installing a demonstration unit in each mandal. The technical back stopping is done by Uday Acqa connect pvt ltd.
